Wonderful Wednesday

Today at Heartwood two new bird tables were started, there was quite a bit of measuring, sawing and sanding to get it under way. We were relieved to find the tadpoles are doing really well after another week. They are clearly thriving on the cucumber and come straight up to feed on it each day when we feed them.

More pallet wood was sawed, drilled and nailed into place for the lower section of the back board on the store shed. Meanwhile, others collected logs in the wheelbarrow from around the site that can be split for future fire logs. More work was done on the handle of the large mallet. It is being shaped using the draw knife and shave horse.

Another lovely walk in the afternoon and almost the final charcoal few bags of charcoal out of the kiln.
