Teamwork, fixing and planting

To start the day, we put up the big tarp so we could have a fire outside in the rain but stay dry. It has been a fun and productive day where one student has been finishing off his table, sanding the top and oiling with Danish oil- it looks incredible!

We had some great teamwork with the group and managed moving and gathering some long logs in preparation for charcoaling in the summer. We had a new student trying out today, he has been helping to fix the leaky tap and build a frame around the pipe to insulate it. Splitting wood for the fire to keep our kettle boiled was good and something we do every session. Some of us planted a cherry tree in fruit corner and added to the brash fence around one of the urinal and also repaired the urinal sign. It has been a great day!
