Sunshine and showers

Wednesday started out incredibly wet and windy. We spent most of the day warm and dry working in the polytunnel.

We created a drying rack from one of Barley's old crates to dry plant fibres, continued work on repairing the chest of drawers, started to build a wooden box for the jigsaw and separated the lavender flowers from their stalks.

Once the rain stopped we went outside and planted some peas in Fruit Corner and cleared the gutters on the shepherd's hut. In the afternoon, the sun came out and we had blue skies; we all enjoyed a walk with Barley.
