Welcome wednesday

On Wednesday we welcomed two new faces to The Heartwood Project, a new student and a new volunteer. Both of our new people slotted in so well and it was a pleasure to have them with us. It was a dry day and we were able to get out and about from under the shelters today. There was a lot of sawing and splitting for firewood as we had used a lot yesterday to stay cosy around the fire.

The tadpoles are fast growing their legs and we are now feeding them cucumber as well as meat. It is exciting to see how they are developing. The big news of the day is that the panelling on the timber store is now completed, it looks fantastic and will be very effective in keeping the worst of the rain off, whilst allowing air to circulate. Well done to all the students who have persevered with this project.
