Today, one student and Helen tended Fruit Corner. They watered the tomato and the cucumber plants, and dug up some beetroot which was very exciting. They also did some general tidying up in the Poly Tunnel and in the Container, and dug up some of the charcoal to wheelbarrow up to make some new biochar. Lastly, they repotted an Ash Tree sapling to grow tall and strong to replant at a later date.
Beth and the other students continued the process of making chocolate out of Linseed flowers. The step was replaced outside the charcoal shed and extensive work was done on the mud kitchen. Towards the end of the day, some of us started weaving a Willow bird feeder.
