We were thrilled to have a dry and almost sunny day on Tuesday. It was great to be able to spread out to work around the site, especially once we had emptied another trailer load of woodchip around the mostwet and muddy areas.
We started work on building a bodger shelter to house the new pole lathe. Two deep holes were dug, and the pole lathe had a first coat of oil. We used forks to create air holes and improve drainage in the clearing, as well as finished creating the willow frame for the Yoda hut.
In the afternoon we went for a walk and deliberately looked for the deepest water we could find. One of our students had new welly boots and was delighted to test them out!
The dogs enjoyed playing together and it being less muddy; it's so nice to see what good friends they've become.
