This week it was a lovely dry, calm autumnal day and one of our keen photographers made the most of photographing the autumn fungi and colours. We all spent a lot of our time caretaking for the woods - tidying up after the busy summer and doing jobs that had been waiting. It's that time of year when Fruit Corner needed tending to, we composted the veg plants and weeded the planters. We dug biochar to mix with the soil and filled the new planter.
Meanwhile Mark chopped a lot of rotten sitting logs and they were stacked for firewood. An old log trolley was dismantled for firewood. Finally, we spent a lot of time cutting bamboo and plant stems to size for the bug hotels- they looked great once they were finished!
