Froglets and making things

Take a closer look at the photo with the cucumber and you will see one of the many froglets which climbed onto the log and sat looking quite relaxed. They were all looking healthy and lively. Some had more tail than others but all had developed their legs.

More salad was harvested and eaten for lunch, today it was spinach, beetroot leaves and lettuce- yum! We were so busy that we forgot to take many photos but it was a lovely social and busy day with two visitors.

We did a shared group job together in the morning, where we gathered nine wheelbarrow loads of wood. Mark had chainsawed a fallen, dead tree and it was good for splitting and will make great firewood without the need to season it.

More work was continued on the ongoing projects of shelving, mallet making, drawer making and a bird table. A large flower press was also made.
