Blackberry jam And the new chair is finished!

This week we made delicious foraged blackberry and apple jam and ate it on bread toasted over the fire. There was lots of work done on the new chair and it was started last week and finished today. It's really comfortable and looks great! It has been a real team effort.

On Tuesday evening, Mark took down two trees that were unsafe. We spent a lot of the day loppering off the brash and clearing the paths. Some of the logs were then split and we stored them for seasoning. More work was done on willow weaving the fence around the pond and it is taking shape. Finally, the rope swing was checked and adjusted.
