Birthdays and a new pond arrival

Happy birthday to Sam and what a stunning autumn day it was to celebrate. We enjoyed sharing birthday cake and playing hide and seek to end the day, which was a lot of fun. We really appreciated sitting in the hot sunshine to eat lunch together.

A wonderful new discovery was that we had a visitor to our new pond - a frog! This was very exciting news and we took lots of photos. We are hoping it might be from the tadpoles we saved earlier in the year.

Fruit corner had some tending and old plants removed with new seeds sown. We are still managing to harvest chard, spinach and green beans. Work continued on the acorn chopping boards and wooden box to hold the jigsaw.
