Autumn equinox

On Monday it was the Autumn Equinox, the time where day and night are equal in length. It is a time of reflection and a season of harvest. We spent the day on Tuesday starting a new wood working project, to make a willow soaker and also woring on the acorn chopping boards and peeling chestnut poles for the next chair we're building.

After lunch we went for a walk and spotted lots more mushrooms and toadstools. It's incredible how many and how different they all are.
