Another hot summer's day and despite the heat we managed to do quite a few different activities whilst staying in the shady trees as much as possible. We did a few group activities which included moving the final two firewood corrals to the cenrtral corral space, raking the main drive of sweet chestnut flowers and wheelbarrowed it to the leaf litter pile to make more biochar in the future, doing some caretaking and general tidying of the woods, as well as going for a slow walk with Twig.
We enjoyed a leisurely lunch together around the banqueting table and then did a variety of things - laying in the hammocks, sanding and oiling a chopping board, trimming and clearning a path and making a bird feeder. We missed Mark and Barley who were away on holiday and will be happy to see them next week.
