Tuesday 16th june

A glorious sunshiny day at Heartwood this Tuesday. We started to move the seasoned wood from the corrals to the wood shed, ready for use. There was quite a lot that needed sorting and some that needed splitting.

The table for one of our staff was finally finished and now just needs some oiling. Another planter was finished, lined and moved to Fruit Corner and then filled with biochar ready for the arrival of the new plants.

Work was done in Fruit corner, where we emptied a couple of beds ready for the plant plugs we have ordered. We thinned out some of the plants, fed the tomatoes and cut back more brambles around the planters, which are growing incredibly fast at the moment. We went for a relaxing walk with the dogs just before lunch.
