The new chair is finished!



We are very proud to have finished making the new rustic chair for our fire circle. We all had a try on it and were pleased with how comfortable it is- it looks great too!

In Fruit corner the last of the green tomatoes were harvested and the tomato plants cleared and composted ready for the autumn. There are still runner beans growing and the leek and onion sets are looking good.

After lunch we went on a mushroom walk, although we only found a few. This was surprising after all the damp weather and the most common mushrooms we found today were earthballs. It was a lovely walk and we enjoyed exploring different parts of the woods. Other activities were: fixing the charcoal sieve, peeling a chestnut pole and splitting pallet wood for kindling.
