Snow magic in the woods

Today was a complete contrast to the sunny, bright Tuesday we had. Everyone was wrapped up warm against the chilly freezing temperatures and even Barley wore his coat! Work was started on a bird box, as well as building side panels for the new plunge tank. We used a lot of the donated tongue and groove timber and it was perfect for the job. Helen also got to use the new jigsaw bought with some donations.

Mark did a great job in the poly tunnel of fixing all the wooden struts on the new shelf and making a start on the mammoth tidying up that needs to happen in there.

... and then it began to snow! Just after we'd said good bye to everyone, the snow started and it settled. Such a rare and beautiful experience and it definitely felt a little bit magic.
