Rebuilding the wood log trolley

helenstringfellow

We have spent our day doing the very useful job of rebuilding the wood log trolley. This involved a lot of sawing, chiselling and using the screwdriver to put it back together. The rotten wood from the old trolley was sawn up for firewood.

At lunch we had a fire and several of us cooked our lunch over it. Perfect for a more chilly autumnal day. Other activities we enjoyed were splitting chestnut logs, roasting delicious chestnuts and building the fire.
