On Wednesday we had a rainy morning and were very grateful for the new tarp again. We were able to seat all 11 of us comfortably around the fire at lunch. However, the fire site and under the shelter is incredibly muddy after all the rain.
Twig has found her confidence both in the wood and with Barley and they have begun to play together.
A few ongoing projects were completed - the Thor hammer for Aaron, and the wooden rake that Mark had made earlier in the year. Two large support posts were sawn and peeled for the legs for the new kitchen project. It is a big build and will take a while to complete. Kindling was sawn and split and a pallet was broken up and de-nailed.
In the afternoon when the sun came out we all went for an adventure walk and discovered some mushrooms were still alive in parts of the wood. It was a great day.
