Happy birthday to you

On Wednesday it was one of our student's birthdays and we were treated to a delicious birthday cake. Happy birthday to them!

We started the day by removing the bracken and brambles that were growing inside the poly tunnel and starting to take over. It os a lot more accessible now. Roofing felt was added to the bird table as a finishing touch and will make it totally waterproof.

The pond digging took most of the day to finish. It will be great for wildlife as it has a deep area and three shallower pools. After a lot of effort, the wood shed has finally got a partition and all the seasoned wood has been stacked carefully on one side, ready for the new unseasoned logs on the other.
