French Drain, New hand rail for crooked house and starting a bird box

Look at our smart new French Drain! It took a lot of digging and moving of pebbles to get it just right but the finished result is excellent. It will really help prevent the shelter area becoming flooded and stop the wooden cupboard rotting.

A new hand rail was peeled and installed for the crooked house- this will make it a lot easier for some people to access it. Helen was very excited to see the first shoots of the garlic she planted two weeks ago and new leaves on the newly planted raspberry canes. Fruit corner is already showing signs of new growth! Finally, some of us made a start on making a bird box kit.
