Fixing things and making things

This week was another glorious sunny and icy winter's day. The wood s looked stunning with all the icy fallen leaves.

We started the day with the temperature at minus 5, even the tap stayed frozen all day! However, everyone stayed warm by doing lots of active jobs and wearing lots of warm layers. Mark found the wood burner and set it up in the poly tunnel; it was a very cosy space to eat lunch together, especially as the sun was shining on the poly tunnel too.

We were delighted to welcome another student to the project and they settled into the group extremely well. We had a busy day with one of the student's fixing a table, while another remade a handle for a broken tool. Others moved logs, finished peeling the large post and completed a long term project.
