Fixing handrails, building a chair and bagging up charcoal

This week we had the excitement of opening the charcoal kiln to see how the charcoal burn had gone. It had been a success and our clients were proud to bag up some of the charcoal to take home and use for a BBQ this weekend.

We also continued to build the wooden chair we have been working on, practicing measuring, sawing, drilling and hammering skills. Finally, the handrail for our compost toilets was replaced and is now very sturdy!
