Fixing and making

This Tuesday we had a good day in the sunshine and managed a huge variety of different activities. There was splitting logs, pallet breaking, mallet making and further work on the back board for the wood storage shed. This involved a lot of sawing, measuring, drilling and nailing. The finished wooden wall will be a great way to protect the wood from the weather, as well as acting as a screen to hide the poly tunnel.

One of the students is a keen gardener and donated to Fruit Corner some plants they'd grown from seed at home. We planted them out and ensured they were all well watered. There was quite a lot of small fixing jobs completed today which included the guttering on the Shepherd's Hut, roof on the container wood shed and the leaking hosepipe.
