We have been incredibly lucky with the weather this week as our blue skies and sunshine come the day before Storm Ciarian is due. With the winter weather in mind, we ensured that we finished the door on the polytunnel. It will be a cosy indoor workspace for rainy days.
Other things we did today was finish peeling the large chopping log and digging it into place. But not before we had to drain out the large hole we'd dug last week as it was half flooded with water from all the rain! Meanwhile some of us made a start on making a toilet box seat for a composting toilet. This is a commission from Circle of Life Rediscovery. Protective oil was painted around the edge of a kiln lid and base to prevent rusting and finally one of our clients designed and made a target. We had a really enjoyable day.
