Digging a drainage channel, clearing paths, putting up bird boxes and Peeling chestnut poles

We were thrilled to put up the first of our bird boxes that we made from recycled wood. It is almost nesting time and there is evidence of birds gathering nest material already. We will keep a close eye on it to see when we get birds moving in.

Despite it being a rainy day, we got lots done. The team were great at working together to dig an escape channel for the French drain, peeling another chestnut pole for fence posts and clearing a path from fallen wood.
