Building a bird hide

This Tuesday we were excited to build a bird hide. It was a great way to use some of the brash from the birch tree that had to be taken down recently. It was a team effort and everyone got involved. We are looking forward to seeing what we might spot.

In the afternoon we went on a nature walk and discovered lots of newly grown mushrooms. It was surprising how many we found as it has been so dry recently. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day.
