Bagging up charcoal and more growing

On Wednesday at Heartwood, we started the day with a walk around the woods to make a list of things that need our attention. We then made a start on a few of these. Some of us spent time tending Fruit Corner, banking up the potatoes, which are growing well, as well as some repotting and watering. The apricot tree was transplanted to a larger pot as were the tomatoes. The tadpoles were fed again and are still doing well.

Logs that had been sawn up for firewood were gathered and put into corals for seasoning. In the afternoon, it was a team effort to dig out and bag up more charcoal - we managed a massive 34 bags today! Everyone who took part went home a little dirty but happy with a couple of bags of charcoal for a BBQ.
