We had a very good time at Heartwood today. It was great to be able to forage for some stinging nettles to make nettle pakoras and wild garlic bread- delicious!
Some of us learnt how to tie a cobra knot to make survival bracelets and keyrings. More wood was split for kindling and chestnut poles peeled using the draw knife and shave horse.
We cleared an area behind the shelter in preparation for the wood shed we are going to build. A busy day surrounded by the still beautiful bluebells.
