A poorly paw

The day started badly for poor Twig. While she was chasing Barley through the newly coppiced area, she jumped over the stacked logs and landed badly. Luckily, there are many kind hearted friends of Twig at Heartwood and she was cuddled, carried and stroked all day long. Thankfully, nothing serious and she was desperate to wrestle with Barley again the next morning.

Other news, we opened the charcoal kiln and started bagging up the charcoal. It was an excellent burn and we are hoping for over 150 bags to beat last year's record. Work also continued on weaving the Yoda hut with willow.
